I’m looking for a near top of the line driver, and price really isn’t much of an issue. I am a fairly experienced golfer but I don’t know too much about clubs. Could anyone tell me some good drivers that will help out my driving distance and accuracy?
My advice would be to go to a golf shop with a simulator and see which head and shaft combo work best for you!
Personally I use the taylor made tour burner and I love it but from what I hear the new titleist driver is supposed to be crazy long so it might be worth checking out!
Cobra Speed LD, Callaway Big Bertha, Cleveland HiBore XL, Taylormade Burner, or Ping G5. I can already drive 280-300 yards with my K-Mart specials, so I am looking to add 15-20 yards. Is that feasible with any of these clubs?
I wish there was an easier answer here, but get on a launch monitor or simulator and hit them all. If you don’t like the results, or aren’t sure, go to another store and do it there too. You’re almost sure to gain with a high quality club (all of the ones you mentioned would be considered at least good quality).
I personally prefer Cobra but not the new LD’s. I just don’t like them. Camilo Villegas seems to like them just fine though so, again, go find what works for you. Good luck.

I’ve golfed a few times before and I used my dad’s clubs but he doesn’t have a driver so I’m looking to buy a new one. I was wondering the best one for my situation and also if I should just get a new set of clubs for approximately the same price as a new driver.
