Hi, I want to clean my clubs and grips this week before I start playing golf again. I have a SQ driver (the first one) SQ irons, Ping putter, and Nike SV wedges. They all have stock shafts and grips. Any tips on how to wash them to improve their performance?

The best method is to get a turkish towel, wet one end , use that end to wash the face of the club. Get a sharp wooden golf tee and scrape the dirt from the grooves. Now use the wet end again and get the dirt from the face, dry with the dry end of the towel. Do this religiously after every shot on the course and your clubs will always be in pristine condition. As for the grip, wipe it before the shot you are about to make as does Freddie Couples. He doesn’t wear a golf glove .
