I was wondering why does people like going to the golf range (stress relief, better game performance….etc)?
Also, for a beginner what club would you recommend me getting?
I think it’s both a stress relief and a lot of fun. I go to work on my game, but I don’t go that often especially during the season.
As for what clubs, just get a general set at Walmart or Target. Just a beginner’s set of adult irons and drivers. No need to run out and get something too expensive, especially if you don’t know if you’ll like it.

My husband and I have been playing together since January, I am a beginner–we play a game called best ball. Im not very good at long shots but my short game including my putting is getting good. The only aggravation I have is when I go to make a shot my husband is constantly telling me what im doing wrong. I know he means well but I wish sometimes I could tell him to be quiet while I make my shot.
My wife just started playing.
We usually go to the par 3 course about a mile from our house. It’s good for both of us. She doesn’t hit very long, so we don’t have to worry about any long par 4s or par 5s. It also gives me a chance to work on my short game.
I try very hard not to give her any advice. I remember how I felt when people tried giving me unsolicited advice when I was first starting to play.
I see a lot of couples at the driving range where the guy tries to tell the woman what to do. A lot of the times what he’s telling her is wrong.
Tell him that you really like golf and you want to improve, so it might be good for you to take some lessons from a pro.
It’s not always easy to learn something from someone close to you.

What year were they made and what is the difference between the two?
the difference with the forged is that they are made out of a softer metal which means they have more feel when you hit them but less forgiveness the cast clubs are much more forgiving slighter more offset and they help a mid to high handicap golfer as opposed to low hanicappers for the forged ones i have played forged clubs all my life i love them i am a 2 handicap golfer and i have been playing for 15 years good luck

Which golf clubs are better, what qualities does one set of clubs have better than the other, and which should I use?
If i need more details, tell me.
Try hitting both sets. The better ones will be the ones you feel comfortable with and that you hit longer and straighter.
